November 11, 2020

Over the last couple weeks there have been a couple of large storms that have come through the Philippines.  Super Typhoon Rolly made land fall on October 31 and is currently the largest storm worldwide in 2020. Several large coconut producing regions have been greatly affected.  This coming week looks to bring further challenges as Typhoon Ulysses has begun making landfall on November 11.

Although this storm is not considered to be as catastrophic as Typhoon Rolly, current forecasting models shows Ulysses following much the same path as Rolly.  This is likely to bring further calamity to a region still reeling from the aftermath of the previous storm.
